The graphics settings leave us with mixed feelings. On the positive side, we have the practical presets that are implemented directly and enable fast adjustment of the overall quality. You also have to be similarly careful with the Volume Rendering Quality and LOD Bias options in some presets, due to the Variable setting. For our benchmarks, we adjusted these Settings accordingly. Starting from medium details, the gaming world of Monster Hunter World will begin to be effective, but you should not expect too much even in the two highest levels.
It's only in minimal settings that the game doesn't look very pretty. Without edge smoothing (FXAA and TAA are supported), various objects flicker strongly. It is unfortunate that you can only adjust a few settings from inside the game, requiring you to visit the main menu instead. Even more annoying is that Monster Hunter World must be completely restarted in order to change the resolution. The vertical synchronization and the optional FPS limit can only make up for this to a limited extent.
