Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition Evil Ryu

BIO:

At the end of thefirst World Warrior tournament, Ryu was losing his battle againstSagat. For a second, he embracedthe Satsui no Hadou (also known as 'killing intent' or 'evilintent') and used a Metsu Shoryuken on Sagat, scarring and defeating himwith rage and hate. After this, Ryu's killing side never reappeared. Evil Ryu is 'whatif' version of Ryu, not a separate entity. Despite the brief temptationfrom the Satsui no Hadou, Ryu rejected it and once again studied under Master Goukento attempt to become as powerful as he once did as Evil Ryu. Kageis another 'evil' version of Ryu introduced in SFV: Arcade Edition.

EvilRyu was originally a basic palette swap of Ryu and/or Akuma, but the design has developed immensely over the years. The idea of the characteralone (and the storyline behind him is quite inspiring, actually. See, there is evil in us all, evendeep inside Street Fighter's#1 good guy, Ryu. Whether or not we act upon our evil side is our choice, and a battle we all face . . . Deepstuff. ;)
Evil Ryu has always been a fun-to-use alt. version of Street Fighter's main'Karate dude,'especially for those of us who never get tired of using shotos. ;) Capcomprogressively and interestingly fleshed out Evil Ryu in every sequel he appeared in.(My personalfavorite is CVS1 / CVS2 Evil Ryu.)He looks so 'silently' pissed off and badass in that series (whichis how his design should be, if you ask me). Evil Ryu's return in SSF4: AEturned out mostly decent - notably his moveset, whichdistinguishes Evil Ryu from vanilla Ryu more than ever before. However, I'mnot much a fan of his Arcade Edition visual redesign.. what'swith that stupidly spiky, cherry-red hair (DBZ much?). That's not the Evil Ryu I've known all these years. So, are those'little red pyramids' on his head, or what? >:P Aside fromthe hair, no other complaints.. but still, 'Classic'Evil Ryu FTW.
