Finding Bigfoot Bobo
The latest update on Monkey: She gained 9lbs in the last 3 weeks and the vet thinks she has rapid tumor growth. Her arthritis is starting to get pretty bad but she's still mostly happy and she still tries to get you to throw balls or sticks and loves going to the beach everyday.
She also still thinks she's the queen bee around town and charges up to any other dogs with her chest puffed out. But if they sneezed she'd topple right over.
She's on several meds and gets pain pills. 3x a day.I received over 2,000 messages, 1,200 comments and a lot of them included stories about how sad they are about losing their fur babies. I've been trying to answer everybody personally, I spent 2 whole days and a couple of evenings answering people. I'm a slow typist and I only got thru about 700. The biggest hassle and time consumption is trying to tag people in their comment by typing their name and when their name turns blue you can click on their name and it alerts them that you responded. However, more often than not it takes several attempts. You'll have to delete their name a couple of times and retype it until it turns blue.
Finding Bigfoot » Finding Bigfoot - Meet the team » James “Bobo” Fay Biography James “Bobo” Fay Biography. James Fay is commonly, if not almost exclusively, known to the world as “Bobo.” The origins of that name are shrouded in mystery, as is much of Bobo’s life, but it seems to have been born from a variation of the name. Apr 11, 2020 Cliff Barackman and James 'Bobo' Fay speak with Florida-based bigfoot researcher and filmmaker Stacy Brown! Topics include Stacy's latest film projects, his time on Bigfoot Bounty and Finding Bigfoot, new research efforts in Florida, partying at Vincent Price's house, and much more!
And a lot of times it won't let you tag them no matter what so I'm just wasting time answering, they'll never see it. I was totally intending to get to everybody as you've been so sincerely loving and comforting and I appreciate it deeply. I'm still going to try to answer as many as I can. But if I don't get to you please don't take offense or take it personally.Again, thanks so much for all the love, prayers, and good vibes. Monkey and I really appreciate it!
We didn't get much sleep last night. Monkey was alternating between gasping for air and quick shallow panting. Last week she got very sick and nearly died. It turned out it was a bacterial infection from all the animal poop she eats whenever she gets the chance.
After spending thousands on vet care and going thru all of the tests and x-rays and MRIs the past several months she was given a clean bill of health in Dec. But she seemed to get winded pretty quick and wouldn't go c. Ompletely nuts while playing fetch. Her arthritis has been getting progressively worse the last several years and if you saw her in the morning you might think she needed to be put down she was so stiff and crippled up.
But a half an hour later she'd be charging around if a ball was produced and you would think she was 10 yrs younger than she was.Last week when she really got sick we got more x-rays, she had them just 7 weeks prior, and an apricot sized tumor was in her lungs plus even larger ones on her kidneys and liver. Her whole abdomen is now swollen with tumors. She's still mostly a happy girl, does better at certain times of the day than others, and she still wants to fight with raccoons, have her belly rubbed, eat all her food, and play fetch. And she gets extra excited to see her human friends. She turned 15 in August and has had an awesome life. She's been all over N Am, flown in more helicopters than most humans, and received love all over the country from her many fans. She had never spent the night without me until I flew to Alaska to film the pilot of FInding Bigfoot when she was 5. She was a total wreck and I really, really missed her as well. We'd be gone months at a time and it would sadden me greatly when I would call home and get the inevitable report that she just moped around and laid on the front porch all day looking down the road waiting for me to come home.I know everybody has much bigger things to worry about, and a lot of people feel that pets are just animals and we shouldn't anthropomorphise them. But Monkey is one of those special dogs that a lot of people connected with.
