Rain World Ending

The Plot (SPOILERS!) edit edit source You play as a slugcat, a nomadic, omnivorous creature who relies on a small herd community, intelligence, and the use of simple thrown tools to thrive in a world filled with predators and periodic torrential rains. As a deadly storm approaches, the slugcat stumbles during a climb and is separated from their family. Between my lack of familiarity with the game and Rain World's aversion to hand-holding of any sort, I.

Any idea how to unlock achievements like The Friend, The Outlaw, The Chieftain. Pilgrimage, The Schoolar, The Survivor and Ascension? Judging from the descriptions of Survivor and Ascension there might be multiple endings. Stolen Enlightement is gained by eating drones of that robot in Shoreline whereas A New Friend is probably achievemed by befriending it. Any idea how to befriend(someone already did as I found this picture) it and what Stolen Enlightement gives you, perhaps it's required for the Ascension ending?. There is only one ending, although there are two ways of getting there, and then there is even the possibility of never going to other places.

I could tell you how to (very probably) get the achievements but it would be really spoilery thing. I really had to work hard to get Pilgrimage and after 13 hours of doing that, I really felt like I went on a pilgrimage.

It was great.A few are related to the end of day things (kill all the lizards, survive long enough, and so on). Others you will get on your path to the end. I would recommend getting to the end before worrying about achievements, the journey is worth more than the trinkets.(And then, like me, you come back after the ending, and decide you want to chase after trinkets.). Ok, so, SPOILERS - Ascension is the end of the game, but I think your last save file will hold, so you can return to the game. In a really weird way that is hard to explain that makes sense within the story of the game.Pilgrimage involves finding the echoes. Some areas (very specific areas) will respond differently when you are high rank, but only on some days. Look for a golden/blue hue and try to find the source.

Once you find it will be super-obvious, and very weird. If you visited Two Pebbles already, it will be even better.Friend won't travel with you, the friend would be Looks to Moon. Chieftain I did not manage, but it probably involves letting them trust you (never attacking them, giving them pearls, other gifts; certainly never breaking their tole). If Ascension is the only ending then does Slugcat ever find his family or are they dead already?Well that's a spoiler of the ending, isn't it? Just play and find out!So I gather that when you have high karma on specific days some locations have blue hue?Yes.One is from befriending the robot but the other?

Also how do you befriend the robot and what is the effect of Stolen Enlightement other than glowing.Well, there is more in the world than you have soon so far. Stolen Enlightenment makes you glow but at the cost of being very mean to the robot person. Slightly old thread, but may as well throw in my 2 cents.Unlock The Survivor by surviving at max Karma a certain amount of times. Once you do that, you can begin unlocking the other achievements. The Monk is for surviving many days in a row only eating fruit. The Hunter is the same for meat.

Rain

The Saint I BELIEVE is for hibernating at the same shelter many days in a row.Now ones that I haven't unlocked yet, but have some idea of how to do it: The Scholar, swallow three different colored pearls. The Dragon Slayer, kill 6 different varieties of dragon. The Wanderer, hibernate at least once in every area.

The Chieftain, get the scavengers to like you (give them lots of pearls, don't attack them). And I assume the outlaw is for killing shit. Each achievement you unlock gives you a single use of 'passage'. So don't go and waste it as soon as you unlock it. You can stockpile them (which is what I recommend you do at the start of any playthrough. The first hibernation chamber in the industrial sector is the best place I've found.)P.S: dragon slayer you HAVE to hibernate after a successful kill, or it doesn't count.

Did I somehow bypass some major part of the game? I'm really confused, I found five pebbles, went to the place he told me to go and the game ended. Didnt explore half the map or figure out what any of the pearls do, I'm not looking for spoilers but did my game glitch and I somehow missed out half the game? I found another robot and a bunch of regions that didnt have anything to do with finishing the game? Will restarting the file reset everything and hibernation room contents or can I safely do this to investigate? Don't fancy backtracking all the way back out of the underground. I'm cool with the story being over I have barely experimented with hunting things, befriending things etc i just wanted to check i didnt miss something.

Is Moon the other ai? I didnt visit on this save, does it provide some kind of light source? I figured that visiting it would actually do something after meeting pebble but I also assumed I would be prompted to visit in due course. In the super dark areas it kinda felt like I was supposed to have a light source but missed out on it.I got no passages unless you get one for completion, so uber backtrack it might be:( but I also want to figure out whats up with the scissor things, so not too bad I guess. Hopefully those pearls might explain the Lovecraftian DMT trip.

And what the facility is actually for, I have a theory but not based on a great deal of info since ive only spoken to pebble. Any value in going back to pebble or is it just moon who matters now? I'm already dreading going back to canopy to get my pearls. I have a ton of theories and ideas about relations with them, though.
