Dreadnought herself, and all British dreadnoughts, had screw shafts driven by steam turbines. Icon. The first generation of dreadnoughts built in other nations used the slower triple-expansion steam engine which had been standard in pre-dreadnoughts. Turbines offered more power than reciprocating engines for the same volume of machinery.

Z2 have announced (on Twitter and Facebook) the availability of Battle Nations 4.6 Patch featuring, as previously announced, new levels, new bosses, new missions and, most importantly, the Arena Challenge.

Arena Challenge is a quite interesting guild event similar to Invasion Competitions. This will be the first guild event putting players into battles against each other – players win Arena Points by engaging and winning against other players in Anytime PvP battles (introduced in 4.5 Patch) during the event, and lose points when they lose battles. More on Anytime PvP battles can be found in the respective game article by Z2.

The sum of all points forms the total Arena Points for the guild. Top 50 guilds get awarded various resources and rare units, and the top guild is pronounced the Arena Champion in the PvP menu.

Due to the new guild event, the schedule for other guild events will change making Boss Strikes less frequent. The first Arena Challenge is due to take place between Thursday, Dec 18^th and Tuesday, Dec 23^rd.

Hello, I was known on the Z2 Forums as Alex39 and I was a huge fan of Battle Nations. I tried to find a community similar and I never succeeded. After many years and communication with former staff members at Z2. (Who can not assist with the project directly). I have decided with the help of friends to remake the game.
